Landing an Airplane on a Ship At Sea! And Then Taking Off Again! You Have to See This!

Landing an airplane on a ship is always a tricky affair, even when the ship and airplane are made for it!  When neither is designed for the task, it becomes much trickier! Watch this STOL Aeroprakt Foxbat A22 land and then take off again off this 3,500 tonne, 93 meter multipurpose ship under way at sea!

This ship was moving at 9 knots, with a windspeed of 14 knots.  That took some brave piloting!

Do airplanes make better boats, or do boats make better airplanes??
